The Janji repeat merino shirt is my all-time favorite shirt. I own maybe ten of them. Half of which are the long sleeved version. I use the shirts for both casual wear (they’re so comfy) and exercise. I just purchased the slate color in the long sleeve option. However, I was very disappointed to find that Janji has removed the rear collar loop! Janji, why??! That is one of the key features of this shirt. I’m a runner and, because these shirts manage odor so well, I can get multiple wears out of each before washing. I use the loop on the back to hang the shirt from a hook in my bathroom. This method allows for faster drying versus laying the shirt over the tub. And it’s also convenient when camping, for the same reason. Honestly, had I realized the hook was removed, I wouldn’t have purchased this year’s version. Janji also changed the orientation and cut off the thumb holes, though this is less of an issue for me.
I haven’t worn my new slate repeat merino yet, but I think this is still a great shirt. But it’s lost some functionality. I’d you don’t care about the hanging loop, I recommend it. It’s very comfortable, light, stylish, and dries pretty quickly. But for me, the absence of the loop is a deal breaker. I’ll definitely check before buying in the future.

very comfortable. great temp regulation. run as low as 40 degrees as only layer and up 55 degrees and sunny as only layer. handled both well. I will definitely buy another one. The smell portion is so-so. I give comfortable and thermal A+. Ability to not stink a B+. Sizing is spot on, slightly relax fit. I’m 6’, 180lbs, L is comfortable

Great quality - ran a little large on me

Really high quality shirt. It's soft and comfortable for wearing around and performs really well on runs. I layered with a t shirt underneath and was comfortable near freezing temps. By itself, it was comfortable in the 40's and 50's.

I'm 5'9" and 150ish -- maybe a little stockier than your typical runner's build, but I thought I looked pretty similar to the models. I originally ordered a medium and found it too tight. it fit like an under armor tee. I sized up to a large and it fit more like the way the models appear.

Also note the length, both the medium and the large go down pretty far below the belt-line. it's fine on the run, but perhaps not the most stylish walking around. You can see this on the models and if that works for you then you will love this shirt.
